About our Workshops

Health Promotion Workshops

The Weigel Health Promotion Office offers numerous interactive educational workshops on specific health related topics. Our current catalog of workshops includes:

  • Tobacco, Marijuana, Vaping (With Weigel & Roswell)
  • Alcohol and Other Drugs
  • Sexual Health, STIs, Yeast Infections
  • Bystander Intervention 101
  • Opiate Overdose/Narcan Trainings (Recorded and Live per request w/ Horizons)
  • CPR/AED ($5 Fee Starting again in Fall 2022)
  • COVID/Flu
  • Stop The Bleed with ECMC
  • Lets Not Meet By Accident with ECMC
  • Tabling with information at your events

A workshop can take place on campus, in a residence hall, and/or classroom. Workshops may last from 45 minutes to an hour. Workshops can be held anytime staff or peer educators are available, which often includes afternoons and weekends!

Workshops can also be developed into a customized training to meet the specific needs of your department or organization.
