Great American Smokeout (GASO) & Campus Clean Sweeps

2020 dates TBA

Weigel Health Promotions is hosting Clean Sweeps across campus. The goal for these programs is to collect and dispose of as much trash on campus as possible, specifically tobacco- cigarette and other substance paraphernalia related litter. We hope to use this opportunity to not only clean up our campus, but to also raise awareness about Buffalo State’s Tobacco Free Policy and related issues. Clean sweeps are always open to anyone who would like to help us keep our Buffalo State campus clean.

Those who wish to participate: We will be meeting in the Weigel Wellness Center entrance/vestibule at 12:15pm to distribute supplies, review the program, give quick tips to educate others on the purpose and history of the clean sweep and set up teams for multiple locations. RSVP is appreciated but not required. email: Paula Madrigal
This program is weather permitting. Should it be cancelled it will be posted on social media (IG and/or Facebook) and will not be rescheduled.
